Practicum provides a unique experience that allows students the opportunity to participate in a learning environment that combines classroom instruction with real business and/or industry career experiences. Larger, more complex metal fabrication projects may be constructed. Students will gain academic and career preparation to pursue high demand and high skill careers. Students will continue the industry certification process with the American Welding Society. ● A single credit option is available in cases where there are scheduling conflicts. ● Students may engage in off-campus work-based learning experiences and work with the instructor to arrange logistics. ● There may be costs associated with taking this course. ● Industry-Based Certification available.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite(s): Credit for Agricultural Structures Design & Fabrications/Lab, Industry Safety Standards
