Livestock and Poultry Production is a course designed for students to learn about animals that contribute to society by producing meat, milk, eggs, fiber, work, and other services. Species students will learn about include: cattle, swine, lambs, goats, poultry, and specialty animals. Students will be able to identify and evaluate livestock as well as describe or perform husbandry practices including handling, facilities/equipment, reproduction and nutrition.
