Rouse High School – Instrument Ensemble: Chamber I-IV

Students in Instrumental (Chamber) Ensemble must be committed to developing individual musical skills and rehearsing a wide variety of music appropriate for the instrumental group into which they belong. Students in Chamber Ensemble would be expected to perform frequently in classroom settings as well as more formal arenas and would have the opportunity to develop leadership skills as coaches for student-led ensembles. The goal of this course is to challenge students to improve their individual musical skills and have a positive impact on the student's artistic development and performance experiences.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite(s): Audition and concurrent enrollment in a performing concert band
