Rouse High School – Family and Community Services: Peer Assistance and Leadership I (PALS)

This course uses the Peer Assistance and Leadership (PALS) curriculum and allows specially trained students to serve as role models and mentors for students in our district. PALS are trained in listening, communication, facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. In addition, PALS participate in various community service projects. ● There may be costs associated with taking this course. ● Students may engage in off-campus work-based learning experiences and work with the instructor to arrange logistics.
Prerequisites: Recommended Prerequisite(s): Principles of Human Services, Human Growth and Development
