Rouse High School – Cheerleading
Apr 2026 · 2nd Semester
Cheerleaders promote participation in and support the athletic teams and student body. In addition to kinesthetic fundamentals of dance, stunting, and tumbling, cheerleaders will develop skills of leadership, cooperation, self-discipline, and sportsmanship. There are a limited number of participants selected and tryouts are in the spring following a week-long tryout clinic. ● Students receive one physical education substitution credit for the first year of cheerleading. Remaining credits in cheerleading are state PE credits. Students can receive a maximum of four credits for cheerleading.
