Round Rock High School – Modern/Contemporary Dance IV

This course focuses on developing and assessing the artistic growth of the modern/contemporary dancer. Modern/Contemporary I is an introduction, while Modern/Contemporary II is an extension of vocabulary, general principles, and movement. Modern/Contemporary III focuses on developing and assessing the artistic growth of the intermediate modern/contemporary dancer. Modern/Contemporary IV focuses on developing and assessing the artistic growth of the advanced modern/contemporary dancer, as well as exploring career pathways. Credit for the previous level course does not automatically qualify the student for the next level. Placement class is required.
