services with opportunities not available through on level or advanced classes. This is the second half of a two-year interdisciplinary spiral that includes AP World History objectives. The content is a historical study of the commonalities of the fine arts, including literature, the visual arts, architecture, and music. Students will learn and practice the craft of writing through various products, including AP style writing. Literature from a variety of world traditions will also be a key focus. At the conclusion of Humanities Il, students may sit for the AP World History to possibly earn college credit. Successful completion of this course awards AP World History credit. Students should not concurrently enroll in AP World History. Humanities does not fulfill the fine arts requirement for graduation.
