Prerequisite or Co-requisite: Fashion and Textiles A Open to: 10, 11, 12 Credit: 2 FW, Ball State Dual Credit Fashion & Textiles B prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the fashion industry. This course focuses on the analysis of the quality of fashion products including components of textiles (fibers, yarns, and fabrics), performance, quality, and consumer satisfaction. Students will focus on the technical design aspects of the fashion industry and its production processes, including steps from design and development to manufacturing, packaging, and distribution. Students will be designing and producing their own fashion clothing line/collection of garments and accessories. Students are responsible for the expense of their own patterns, fabric, materials, and notions. \*\*Students will have the opportunity to earn dual credit through Ball State University if they meet the requirements. Fees apply.
