rerequisites: Engineering Foundations 2 S/T or Engineering Foundation and Research Design S/T Credits: 0.5 Advanced Technology Education This course requires students to use drafting equipment and computers (CAD) to produce technical drawings and to solve geometric drafting problems. Experiences and instruction will pertain to procedures and techniques for communicating information about the size and shape of objects; pattern development; schematic diagramming; statistical charting, and land feature description (cartography). Through SY 2023-24, students entering high school in Fall 2021 are not eligible for Advanced Technology Education as a completer option (see AP 6150 Educational Requirements and Options).
