Potomac High – Academic Resource Support Class

This course provides struggling special education and general education students with instructional supports and skill development to increase access to the general education curriculum in order to be successful in the academic environment. Curriculum will incorporate instructional practices and strategies based on student learning styles and individual needs and may include self advocacy organization and test taking skills that will enhance academic performance across all content areas. This course is designed for a small class environment and can be taken year long elective credit. An approved reading and/or math intervention may also be used in this course.
