This semester course is designed to provide students an opportunity to pursue their interest in practical aspects of the law. The course will provide a framework for the county’s mock trial program and will involve participation by the Bar Association and law enforcement agencies. The course provides practical information and problemsolving opportunities necessary for survival in our society. The course includes role-playing, small group activities, opinion polls, and visual analysis experiences as well as mock trials.

Prerequisites: Grade 11 or 12 Non-Academy student; Pre-Law and Social Justice pathway student and good attendance
