Porter Ridge High School – German IV - Honors

This course teaches students to communicate in writing and in extended conversations on a variety of topics. Students study authentic oral and written resources. They narrate, discuss, and examine more complex ideas and concepts. Classes are conducted primarily in German. German V Advanced German Language - Honors (S) (AP Companion Course) Prerequisite: German IV Honors and teacher recommendation In addition to developing advanced speaking and listening skills, students focus on reading, translation, interpretation of literature, and writing skills. Students will be introduced to the AP College Board format. Students are expected to enroll in AP German Language and take the AP exam.
