Pope High School – Pltw Capstone

This capstone course challenges students to apply their accumulated PLTW knowledge to researchand solve an open-ended real-world problem. Working in teams, students follow a rigorousengineering design process, identifying a need, conducting research, designing, building, testing, andrefining a solution. Emphasis is placed on documentation, engineering notebooks, iterative testing,and final presentation to a panel of industry professionals.The course culminates in a comprehensivedemonstration of technical, analytical, and professional competencies, preparing students for post-secondary education and careers in engineering or related fields.
