Work-Based Learning I—IVallows sudents to engagen a mentor-upervised on-he-ob training expencefor career awareness and exploration. WBL placements are the culmination of the Career-RelatedEducation experience. To participate, students must be in grades 11 or 12 and have a defined CareerPathway, ensuring their job placement aligns with completed or concurrent pathway courses. The Work-Based Programs Teacher-Coordinator visits mentors to assess performance and supervises job search skilldevelopment. Students maintain a weekly journal, track hours worked, and complete program particpationforMS. LUNCH PERIODS AND CLASS PERIODS WILL NOT BE ADJUSTED BASED ON STUDENT APPROVAL FORINTERNSHIP. STUDENTS ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM ARE EXPECTED TO MEET REQUIREMENTS FORTHE SCHOOL YEAR. STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED IN THE COURSE FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR.
