AP Seminar foundational course that egages studentsincross-curricular conversationsthat epot cmplexitacademc nd real-worl topic and issues by analyzing divergent perspectives. Usig aninquiry framework, students practicereading and analyzing articles, research studies, and foundatinal,lirary, and philosophical texts; listening to and viewigspeeches, brodcasts, and personal acconts; andexperiencing artistic works and performances. Students learn to synthesize information from multiplesources, develop their own perspectives in written essays, and design and deliver oral and visualprentations, bothdividually and s part a teamUltately, the course ais o equ udents wthe power to analyze and evaluate information with accuracy and precision in order to craft andcommunicate evidence-based arguments. Students who complete AP Seminar are expected to enroll in APResearch their senior year. This course does NOT meet the 4th Science requirement for graduation.
