Plant High School – World Religions

The primary content emphasis for this course pertains to the study of major world religious traditions of Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Shintoism, and Taoism. Students will identify criteria upon which religious beliefs are based, analyze relationships between religious and social and political institutions, trace the major developments of the world's living religions, and distinguish the similarities and differences among the world's major religions.
