Plant High School – On the Job Training (OJT)

On the Job Training OJT provides students the opportunity to earn school credit for real-world employment. Students must be employed and work a minimum of 5 hours each week per period of OJT and students can take up to two periods of OJT. These work requirements are strict – if a student loses their job for any reason, they must immediately begin searching for a new job or risk removal from class. Students are able to leave campus early after they have checked in with their teacher.
Grades: 11-12 Requirement: Student must be employed with an eligible community business
