Plant High School – Advanced Placement Art 3-D Design Portfolio

The AP Studio Art 3D Design Portfolio maintains a focus on design principles and is for the accelerated student who excels in any 3D media. The portfolio includes further studies in a variety of advanced 3D design techniques and conceptual development. The three-part portfolio consists of Sustained Investigation (15 slides showing PRACTICE, EXPERIMENTATION, and REVISION), Written Evidence (2 Paragraph Artist Statement Summarizing important concepts and skills developed by the STUDENT through INQUIRY), and Selected Works (5 slides of exemplary work emerging from the Sustained Investigation) for College Board review with the potential for college credit. Cost varies.
Prerequisites: Minimum of one full year of a 3D or 2D art, large element design portfolio, and teacher recommendation
