Plano Sr High School – American Sign Language III

American Sign Language III continues to build upon students’ expressive and receptive language and vocabulary skills. Learning to recognize and produce ASL sentences using grammatical features such as location classifiers, quantifiers, temporal aspect inflection, and spatial agreement will be emphasized. Students continue cultural exploration of the Deaf Community. The expected outcome of this course will be developing intermediate low – intermediate mid proficiency. This course is conducted in ASL (without voice) a significant amount of time.
