Prerequisites: Algebra II and Geometry Credit: 1\ \ This course deepens students' mathematical understanding and fluency with algebra and trigonometry, and extends their ability to make connections and apply concepts and procedures at higher\ \ What's Next? Statistics, AP Statistics, Dual Credit Statistics, or AP Calculus AB\ \ levels. This is done through a study of numerous functional relationships, including polynomial, rational, power (including radical), exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and piecewisedefined functions. Students analyze the characteristics and behaviors of these functions. Topics also include conic sections, their properties, and parametric representations; sequences and series; and using vectors to model physical situations.
