Academic Literacy III involves additional practice for students in literacy strategies such as word analysis, vocabulary, reading fluency, written response, and critical thinking to build success and become proficient readers. Students who fail to meet satisfactory on EOC, fall below district criteria, or need focused literacy skills should take this course.\ \
