Explore the American Sign Language II curriculum designed to help students master key concepts and essential skills.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite-previous course or mastery of student performance standards The purpose of this course is to further develop the student's knowledge of American Sign Language. The content should include, but not be limited to, conversational skills in ASL, its syntax and principles, and the cultural aspect of the deaf community. This course will provide students with an accumulated receptive and expressive vocabulary of 1,500 signs. Essential Learning’s are practiced and assessed throughout the course. This course may be used for the foreign language university requirement.
