Pershing High School – Engineering I

This initial course explores the different disciplines of engineering and provides students with a broad background in different areas of engineering. Students will have an opportunity to investigate and employ engineering and scientific concepts to find solutions to engineering design problems. Students will develop skills in problem solving and design, while learning strategies for design process documentation, collaboration and presentation. Career related activities, projects, and work-based learning experiences are included, where possible.
