This course is designed around a college-level architecture course curriculum that focuses on architecture, urbanism, and design-related fields. Students meet for three hours per day, five days a week over the course of a semester. The ArcPrep program focuses on Architecture Studio – a college-level course for high school credit focused on architecture and robust assignments in mathematics and visual art, Career Exposure Module (CEM) – career-focused exposure to professional architecture and design practices, the places of work, and direct engagement with practitioners, and Career Counseling Module (CCM) – Individual and collective career counseling that includes workshops on post-secondary education, financing college, and producing an effective college application essay and portfolio.
