This ELA course of study is designed to assist the limited language user to develop expressive, receptive, auditory, and visual communication skills in order to communicate effectively with others. This may be accomplished with or without accommodations and/or assistive technology. This course may be individualized for students working at the functional, supported, or participation level and on a course of study leading to a Certificate of Completion. This course focuses on student understanding and differentiation models that support various learning styles and individualized educational plans. \*\*\*Schedule Mild Cognitive Impairment (MiCI) program students in Essentials Functional Communications \[A,B\] (SE155GDS1,2).
