Parrish Community High School – Theatre 3 & 4 Honors ¹ ²

This acting course provides students with opportunities to learn and perform the techniques and skills of dramatic, comedic, improvisational, and musical theatre, including audition techniques and repertoire-building for professional theatrical auditions. Theatre games and exercises, monologues, ensemble pieces, duet scenes, and readers’ theatre are taught, memorized, and performed. This performance class will perform for school and community audiences in at least 2 evening shows during the school year. This class may include some extra rehearsals and performances outside the normal school day. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Theatre 1. Theatre teacher recommendation.
