Park View High – MATA Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) I H SEM

The EMT program is designed to provide training to individuals in order to function independently in a medical emergency and serve as a vital link in the chain of the health care team. This course includes all skills necessary to provide emergency medical care to a patient who has experienced a traumatic injury. Other skills covered include CPR, basic patient assessment, taking vitals, and Mass Casualty Incident Command. This course is part of the Loudoun Governor's STEM Academy.
