Park Glen Elementary – German I Honors

German I Honors covers the German I curriculum while focusing on developing students’ ability to communicate in German at the Novice Level but goes into added depth with the German language while engaging in AP style questioning, responses, and tasks. This course begins preparing students for Advanced Placement (AP) courses which provide students the opportunity to earn college credit after successful completion of the corresponding AP exam. Students in Level I Honors are expected to reach a proficiency level of Novice Mid to Novice High by the end of the course of study. Upon successful completion of this course, students are encouraged to enroll in German II Honors.
