This class is designed to develop musicianship and improvisation skills through performance of alternative string styles including popular tunes, classical chamber music, fiddle tunes, jazz and small ensembles. Daily at home practice is required for all students. Membership is open to any student who completed Instrumental Ensemble III, and this course must be taken in conjunction with an orchestra course.

Prerequisites: Director Recommendation and Instrumental Ensemble III
