This foundational course introduces students to the essential skills and concepts of musicianship. Students will learn music theory basics, including note reading, rhythm, scales, and key signatures, alongside ear training and basic sight-singing techniques. Emphasis will be placed on developing aural skills, understanding musical structures, and fostering creativity through simple composition exercises. By the end of the course, students will have the tools to engage with music more confidently and lay the groundwork for further musical study.
