I'm a student at Yale University majoring in both Economics and Global Affairs. Over the past 4 years, I am lucky to have worked with students of all ages and helped them reach their full potential. I offer tutoring services in all subjects, and I'm particularly interested in English, Economics, Government, and Math. I am a graduate of Duke University( undergrad) where I majored in Philosophy and minored in Theater Studies. During my summers in college, I worked with EducationUSA Nairobi, an advising center for Kenyan students who wish to pursue higher education in the US. When I worked for them, I tutored high school graduates on SAT stuff and also helped them write better personal statements. After graduating from Duke last year, I started tutoring high school students in my neighborhood. I mainly taught math subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Basic Math and Problem Solving but I'm well versed in Reading and Writing subjects as well. I'm vastly experienced and very patient with all my students. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking etc.

I love imparting to them my own passion for the English language and its literary heritage, from Chaucer through our best 21st-century writers. I am particularly absorbed by the history of fiction, drama, and poetry in English, and I hope to continue to teach such love of the written word to curious students today.
