Osborn High School – Og Tutoring Seminar, 9th Grade

This OG Tier lll Literacy intervention course (Gr. 9) is offered to high school students to support mastery of literacy skills needed for College and Career Readiness. The course utilizes a research-based multisensory approach to engage students in activities to develop and strengthen their skills in reading foundational skills, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking and listening. The course curriculum is aligned to the Michigan Standards for English Language Arts (CCSS). This course focuses specifically on providing small-group intervention led by Academic Interventionsts. Students also have access to MaxScholar, an online tool, to support differentiation of instruction.
