Osborn High School – Essentials Career Preparation

Only schedule non-MiCI students in this course. This course is designed to help students realize the importance of education, recognize personal strengths, and build self-esteem, while learning a career planning process. Students continue to explore career pathways and begin focusing on 2–3 specific pathways gaining knowledge about the expectations, skills, training, and education required by those careers. Topics also include but are not limited to: completing job applications, resume writing, interviewing skills, career exploration, paychecks, banking, budgeting, and self-advocacy.
