Osborn High School – Ctc Welding, Brazing, and Soldering

In this introductory course, students receive an occupational orientation that focuses on the safety and health for welders. Students also are introduced to shielding and metal arc welding. Students are trained in the complete comprehensive basics of welding, cutting, and fabrication. Students gain experience with oxyacetylene welding, brazing, shielded metal and gas tungsten arc welding. Students are exposed to gas cutting, drawing, and welding symbols.
