This course offers the student opportunities and activities to further develop theatre arts skills. The course enriches student proficiency in vocal production and oral interpretation, advanced improvisation techniques, character analysis, character and emotional physicalization, and scripted performances. Students will also concentrate on performance techniques concerning theater styles/genre, an appreciation of theatre heritage, the performance production process, and theatre technology. In addition, students will be afforded the opportunity to explore play writing and play analysis, including establishing criteria for evaluation of written and performed theatre works. This is an activity-based class.
