Orange Grove High – Retail Sales/Marketing 1a-1b

This course provides experience and skills needed to obtain employment in a variety of retail stores and in the fashion industry. Classroom instruction includes cash register operation, salesmanship, customer service, visual merchandising, store security and loss prevention, merchandising, stocking and receiving, personal development, and job search. Training programs may be directed to meet students' individual needs and interests, depending upon community training sites available. Training sites may include department stores, food and drug stores, specialty stores and on-campus student stores.
