Orange Grove High – Peer Counseling 2a-2b

This course provides students with the opportunity to apply the skills acquired in Peer Counseling 1A-1B. Students will assist other students through conflict mediation and peer counseling sessions. Students will be expected to research and give presentations on teen issues for appropriate classes and community forums. In addition, there will be opportunities for career exploration and community service. Students must be committed to a student code of ethics. This course may be repeated for duplicate credit.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Peer Counseling 1A-1B, instructor approval and parent permission letter
