Odyssey Charter Schools 9-12 High School – Driver Education

The Driver Education course consists of no less than 1350 minutes of classroom instruction covering the study of the Delaware Driving Laws and the theory of safe driving. Each student spends 7 class hours, or 315 minutes, on behind-the-wheel instruction, as well as the same amount of observation time. The course in Driver Education is provided exclusively for tenth grade students and satisfies the requirements for licensing of motor vehicle drivers as required by state law.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of both the classroom and driving instruction phases is necessary if the student is to receive a license to drive prior to his/her eighteenth birthday
