Oakdale High – Fire & Rescue Internship 2B

This two year CTE completer program prepares students for careers in fire and rescue. Students attend this program in the afternoon. The first year students participate in training at the Public Safety Training Center where they earn industry recognized credentials in Firefighter I and II, Hazmat, Emergency Medical Response, Protective Envelope and SCBA and more. Year 2 students intern at a local Fire or Rescue Company to gain experience to prepare for their desired career in Fire and Rescue. Year 1- Students are required to have their own transportation to the training center.
