This one-year course provides students with a project-based learningapproach to the design-development process in engineering. Studentsuse solid-modeling and computer design software to analyze, create, andconstruct engineering projects. Instructional practices incorporateintegration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all culturesand their important contributions to society. The appropriate use oftechnology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfills one of theelective credits required for high school graduation.
