This one-year course is designed to provide students the fundamentals ofthe fashion concepts and construction. Areas of emphasis includeclothing construction, textiles, marketing, customer service and theprinciples and elements of design. Instructional practices incorporateintegration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all culturesand their important contributions to society. The appropriate use oftechnology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfills one of theelective credits required for high school graduation.
