This one-year course provides students who have achieved allcontent standards in Video Production an advanced study throughinvestigation and in-depth research. The student collaborates with thesupervising teacher to design and implement the topic of study.Coursework may include various work-based learning experiencessuch as internships and job shadowing, involvement in a school-based enterprise, completion of a capstone project, and/or portfoliodevelopment. Instructional practices incorporate integration ofdiversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and theirimportant contributions to society. The appropriate use of technologyis an integral part of this course. This course fulfills one of the electivecredits required for high school graduation and may be repeated.
