This one-year course provides students who have successfully completedMechanical Technology I opportunities to explore the various forms of powerapplication mechanisms. Areas of emphasis include the design process,robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and other systems ofpower transmission. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversityawareness including appreciation of all cultures and their importantcontributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral partof this course. This course fulfills one of the elective credits required for highschool graduation.
