This one-year course provides students who have successfullycompleted Culinary Arts I with advanced practical training in areas offood preparation, equipment technology, merchandising, andservice. Students gain experience in catering, banquet functions, anda la carte operations. ProStart™ curricula is an integral part of thiscourse. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversityawareness including appreciation of all cultures and their importantcontributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is anintegral part of this course. This course fulfills one of the electivecredits required for high school graduation.Note: This course may allow students to earn college credit from theCollege of Southern Nevada.
