Northview High School – Music Theory 2

This course will develop a student's ability to recognize, understand and describe the basic materials and processes of music that are heard or presented in a score. The student will develop aural, sight- singing, written, compositional, and analytical skills. These will be developed through listening exercises, performance, written exercises, creative exercises and analytical exercises. The course will instill mastery of the rudiments and terminology of music.
