Northshore Online Reengagement Program – Introduction to Information Technology Careers

In this course, students will discover different careers in the Information Technology field. They will explore three main areas: hands-on roles, creative roles, and administration/programming roles. They will examine various positions such as Help Desk Technician, Web Developer, and Mobile Application Developer. They will learn about the tasks and responsibilities expected as well as the possibilities offered by a job in this growing field. They will analyze the skills needed for an information technology career and consider themselves in one of these roles.
