1 Unit The Honors Advanced Visual Art course is designed for students with a strong foundation in visual arts who are ready to explore the connections between art and broader societal, cultural, and historical contexts. This course challenges students to create a body of original, concept-driven work that demonstrates technical skill, personal artistic voice, and critical thinking. Through independent and collaborative projects, students will experiment with a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, printmaking, and digital art, while critically engaging with the expanding role of technology and innovation in the arts.
Prerequisites: Previous Level and/or Proficiency Assessment
