6827 Marching Band (Honors) - The Marching Band is open to any student regardless of being enrolled in a bands or music class. Band offers all students a comprehensive music and visual program on the highest level of excellence in modern marching band music, technique, performance, and practice. The responsibilities of the Marching Band will include performing as a pep band at football games, as well as performing for various school, civic performances such as pep rallies, assemblies, and parades. Marching Band rehearsals will take place during the percussion ensemble, concert band and wind ensemble classes during the first quarter. Students must participate in after school rehearsals and performances. The Marching Band will compete in field shows during the fall season. Students in the Marching Band must attend a band camp held during the month of August.
