North Stafford High – Freshman Success 101

Freshman Success 101 offers students the opportunity to explore career options through identifying their personal interests and aligning them with academic curriculum, course offerings, and CTE credentials. Students will build essential workplace and life readiness skills such as communication, collaboration, problem solving, time management, and adaptability. The course also emphasizes character development, study strategies, and organizational skills. The course also includes a service learning component. This course may require students to participate in learning experiences outside the school day including evenings and weekends. Critical elements of this course are also embedded in first-year center required coursework.
