Note: Course requires time outside the scheduled class period for activities occurring in the evening and on weekends. This course is designed for the student interested in pursuing a career in broadcast technology or broadcast journalism. Experiences will be structured to simulate a private local company in the community, allowing the students to take on the responsibility of the day-to-day tasks. This simulation could include coverage of school and community events, developing a clientele through the creation of promotional and informational presentations, and daily production of live announcements for the school.
